2026 WonderRun 5K & Kids Fun Run

About This Event

The Wellesley Hills Juniors Women’s Club (WHJWC) is pleased to present the 12th annual Wonder Run 5K and Kid’s Fund Run on Sunday, May 17th, 2026! The Wonder Run is a celebrated part of Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend. We anticipate hundreds of participants and great community support again this year. We hope you will join us! Proceeds generated from the Wonder Run directly support community groups, scholarships for deserving local students, and grants to organizations and programs that provide education, enrichment, and essential services to our local population.

Registration Deadline & Fees (2026)

• Early Online Registration: $40 Wonder Run, $20 Kids Fun Run.
• Early Online Registration closes a week prior to the race.
• Kids Fun Run registration is capped at 200 participants.

Wonder Run Course

The Wonder Run is a USATF certified 5K road race through scenic Wellesley. Wellesley High School track is the location for the 8:00 a.m. start and the course will circle back to the track for the finish line. ALL runners and walkers welcome!

Kids Fun Run Course

There will be a Kids Fun Run around the Wellesley High School track starting at 9:00 a.m., following the Wonder Run 5K. Kids ages 6 and under run 1 lap around the track at 9:00 a.m., and then kids ages 7-10 run 2 laps around the track. If your child loves to run and wants to run the 5k, they are welcome to sign up for the 5k instead of the Fun Run. The Wonder Run is fun for the whole family!
