Grants

We raise money to help address some of the biggest challenges facing our society: mental health, hunger, access to education, bullying, poverty and domestic violence. Our annual grants fund programs that provide education, enrichment, and essential services to our local population, primarily women, children and seniors.

Eligibility and How to Apply

WHJWC Grants Deadline is February 1, 2027

The 2027 Grant Application goes live on November 1, 2026. For first-time applicants, please complete the “Application” (link below).

For returning applicants, you must complete both the “Application” as well as the “Grants Report” (links below).

Following the grant review process, applicants will receive written notification of the committee’s decision by the end of May, regardless of whether they are awarded a grant or not. Awards are distributed in early June.

The Green Apron Award

The Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club is excited to introduce the Green Apron Grant Award, a new $10,000 opportunity designed to make a meaningful, lasting impact in our community.

Green Apron Grant — $10,000

The Green Apron Grant provides $10,000 in one-time funding to help nonprofit organizations make significant purchases that strengthen their programs, expand their services, or better serve the community. Examples might include purchasing a commercial refrigerator for a food pantry, acquiring essential equipment, or investing in resources that will support an organization’s mission for years to come.
